Five-Time Award Winner:
Your Vote Needed!
All active NC IPMA-HR members, as well as those whose memberships are pending renewal for 2020-2021, have received the information below with a link to the voting poll. If your membership has lapsed, please renew your membership and vote today. Thanks!
Dear NC IPMA-HR Members,
We hope you are doing well during this difficult time. We missed seeing everyone this Spring due to postponement of our annual conference due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the travel ban/restrictions that most of our members were and continue to be under, and we look forward to seeing you all virtually and in-person for future events. We are committed to keeping our members safe and continue to monitor the situation in our state. Our current plan is to reschedule the conference in Asheville in the Fall of 2021, once it’s safe to hold in-person events again. We will keep members informed as we move forward. Thank you for your patience and understanding. All fees paid for the 2020 annual conference will be transferred to the next conference in 2021.
Since we could not have an annual meeting this year, we have several outstanding items that need to be considered by the NC IPMA-HR membership. Please take the time to review these documents and submit your vote. Input from the membership will be considered at the board's transition meeting next month. Voting will be open until Aug. 14, 2020.
In addition, please indicate if you are interested filling the vacant role of Publicity/Technology Committee Chair. The member serving in this role is responsible for updating and maintaining the NC IPMA-HR website and assisting with updating and maintaining our social media platforms. We're looking for someone who is tech savvy and comfortable with utilizing various platforms to provide content for our members.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or feedback. Stay safe and follow public health guidelines!
Sandra Cheeks, NC IPMA-HR President
