About NC-IPMA
NC-IPMA is the North Carolina chapter of the International Personnel Management Association (IPMA), whose headquarters are located in Alexandria, VA. IPMA is a professional association of primarily public sector personnel professionals employed in federal, state, and/or local government.
NC-IPMA has provided opportunities for public personnel professionals to meet, exchange information and ideas, and participate in professional development activities, for over twenty years.
It is an association of public personnel professionals from across the state. It is comprised of city, county, state, and federal government employees as well as professionals from other public agencies such as housing and airport authorities, councils of government, public hospitals, state supported universities and community colleges, and public school systems.
Membership offers a diverse network of valuable resources for the professional dealing with personnel issues. NC-IPMA provides resources to help meet daily challenges and keeps you up-to-date with trends and new development in the personnel field.

To provide professional human resource management leadership, education, information, and representation services to advance organizational objectives and quality of service in the public sector.
